weed effects people in different ways from what iv experienced

 

Right not anywhere near the way that booze does.

 

I will say that I could drive better at .08 than I could after a taking one puff of weed...

 

The reason why drunk driving is so bad is that it affects your sense of judgement and it slows your reaction time.

Being high off of weed affects your sense of judgement and slows your reaction time. I'd say it slows it more than when you're drunk actually.

Driving slowly while other traffic is going faster is more of a danger on the road than going as fast or a little faster than traffic.

 

Judgement is the issue

 

I am speaking from my experience. If I am piss drunk, I can't or will not drive. When I use to smoke I could smoke 2 blunts be tired but drive just fine. I wouldn't say I drove slow just 55 right at the speed limit and I was more aware of what was going on around me being paranoid about cops.

Some drunks think that their balls get huge and they are invincible hence bar fights and sloppy drunks talking trash when they normally wouldn't it or they think it gives them balls till they get knocked the F out by a sober dude.

Weed doesn't do anything like that. I have seen MANY agressive drunks and people that drive more agressive when they are drunk.

Never seen this with weed. Regardless both are stupid. I retract my statement go smoke instead of drink.


But here look at this, they take a guy get him high as a kite and have him drive on a road course.

Now google road tests when someone drinks, they are MUCH MUCH different.

The consensus is that a healthy dose of paranoia after smoking generates increased concentration in the driver. On the flip side, driving while drunk makes your more liable to take risks.

The bottom line is that everyone has a different threshold. The host also suggests a form of test that figures out how much herb someone has smoked. Good luck with that.

You're fucking kidding right? There is nothing scientific about that experiment at all. Taking one BIASED driver and running him through one course, with no control test subject or placebo subjects. Give me a fucking break. You have no idea as to the dosage or tolerance of the driver.

I will concede that alcohol impairs you more than Marijuana, however, that doesn't mean it's safe to smoke and drive.

I agree that it affects each different. And I will also agree that it impairs much more than booze. I never said it was same and obvious it was a biased study. They said right off the bat this is not science.

Both I guess are raw and If I got hit by a dude with his eyes all bloodshot we would have problems just as the same if I smelt booze on his breath. Driving under the infulence of anything is stupid.

Hence me retracting my statement to tell the dude smoke weed instead of drinking and driving.
