Oh, thats good to know. Regardless, if Im going to go through the steps, I want something a bit more radical than stock...so even a standard gloss black might not be enough.

I think it sounds great. I didnt put it on and havent ridden an F4i with a stock exhaust (so no comparisons to make there) but I like it.

I heard a D&D on an R6 last week and it sounded like ass just with him leaving the parking lot...the Akrapovic never sounds too loud or obnoxious to me.

 

I can't really tell what the second color is on the bike (white or silver?) but maybe white/silver wheels with a red stripe or vice versa? I also remember seeing someone on here who had like a cracked powdercoat looking wheel set up, that would be pretty sick, too.

 

Its white/red. The white is actually a pretty cool pearl (factory Honda).

I had thought about white wheels, but I dont want to worry about cleaning them to always make them spotless. I do like the idea of red with a white stripe or something along those lines.

Any opinions on gloss black wheels with a red stripe?

gloss black is what i want for my f4i.. i dont like the flat black, it doesnt look good with the shiny black...

if you want a high mount jardine ti exhaust lmk.. im tryin to get another b/c i dont like having to lose my footpeg even though i still have mine on!

oh yeah are your rear sets and higher then the stock ones? i want some rear sets that come up higher.

 

I thought about a high mount. You have any pictures of it mounted on your bike? Are you saying you dont want to lose your passenger pegs or you dont want to lose your standard rearsets?
They are aftermarket rearsets, but I dont know how much they differ from the stock rearsets as far as location goes. One thing I dont like is the location of the rear brake. For some reason it sits too high (and there is no adjusting it) so I have to lift my toes up to try and use it instead of just having super-quick access to it.

 

you are suspose to remove the passenger peg for the high mount but i left mine on and ive had someone on the back and no complaints about it getting too hot or not enough room. ill see if i can get a pic of it tom.. its brand new! i like it other then that. its not loud at all until you get WOT.

hmm.. i wonder if they feel any different then the stock ones b/c i dont like the way the F4i rear sets are low. i wish they were higher like the RR.
