Default Need to have my new car lowered.

I just got a new car this past weekend and I need to find a shop in the area that can lower it for a good price. I am just doing springs, and I live in the warrenton area.

Any one know of a shop close by that does a good job and has good prices?

what kind of car is it? and its not hard at all to do springs.

take the wheel off disassemble the oem struts/springs. get a spring compressor from advance auto or someplace (you can rent it then get your money back when your done). swap springs. put everything back together.

^^^^I'm with him...but if you can't do it yourself, there is always Ptuning which is probably about 20-30 minutes from Warrenton.

It is a 07 cobalt SS. I dont have the stuff to really do it, and dont really have any tools as I live in an apartment, so I was just kinda looking for a shop to do it, but every shop I have called is asking more for install then I am going to pay for the springs.

yeah your going to get that anywhere you go. better off finding someone with the tools you need, and paying someone on the side to do it or yourself.

I figured the prices would be a little high, but 2 years ago, I have a full coilover kit installed on my car for $80, guess I now know why that shop is out of business.

Take it to the same people that lowered your 2003 Golf VR6.
