I'm interested in getting some extra money.
I'm looking for part time work with the hours of 5pm-12mid, Mon-Fri and whenever on sat/sun.

General labor is fine and minimum wage if need be. I would like to do some work at a dealership or just something around cars... shop hand, lot attendant doesn't matter.

If you have anything else though throw it by me and I will most likely be up for it.

If you need a resume let me know. I have 9yrs military service dealing with electronics and def enough leadership skills since I maintain a shop full of 18 Airman.

This is not a joke so please don't make it one. Yes, I'm looking at other places as well and I do know how to check a newspaper.

You can get ~10 hours/week at Saddle Ridge making ~$12/hour (starting out). We're looking for dependable Friday and Saturday night bouncers.

This may not be your problem, so don't take this as an accusation, but way too many enlisted personnel live way beyond their means. For example, if you're an E4, you probably shouldn't go buy $35k sports car, but I see it happen all the time. Some even live on base, eat at the chow hall, and still have no money. Or even simple, common-sense things like waiting to have children if you are only an 18-yr-old E2. This is no way to live.

Our military is not underpaid by any stretch of the imagination, but fiscal responsibility is not taught to our young enlisted men and women.

 

I do actually well saving money. My wife is a paralegal, we live in an apartment. The house we are due to rent will be less than $1400 a month. A bit over BAH, but we have two American Pit Bull Terriers and we are limited to choices. Tahoe was paid for cash (anything less than 15k we pay for in cash). I don't have any boom boom in my truck, or special shit in my house. I dont buy useless shit like game systems or expensive clothes, etc. I am proud to say I'm a cheap ass. But we are underpaid. I'm an E3, I make about the same before I enlisted. I do like some parts about my job, underways are nice with all the added wages we get. I saved about 14k on deployment.
