Hey guys, I'm putting together a new project. I am looking for a muffler that will be quiet yet not restrictive. It has to have a 3inch inlet. Or has anybody used a turbo pack or glass pack? I just don't want to get messed with by Va beach cops. They are Nazis out here for everything.

 

Vibrant...and if it isn't quiet enough run a vibrant resonator as well.

I'm just looking for a muffler I can weld onto my current exhaust. I normally wouldn't care, but I am on 6 months probabtion for all of my other b.s non moving violations so aside from my careful driving, I want a muffler that isn't going to attract attention and I believe Vibrant has one. Thank you though!

 

I have an HKS Silent Hi Power... (muffler only)

it was hacked off of my car after I got ticketed for non oem...

 

Dynomax will be cheap and quiet.

 

I second this. I also recommend putting on a piece of tail pipe after the muffler.

While it doesn't directly relate, I recently switched from a regular Magnaflow muffler getup on my mustang to Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers.
At idle and part throttle you can tell I have some non-stock exhaust parts, but anything from half to full throttle is stupid quiet; like "factory 4 cats, 2 resonators and restrictive 2.25" exhaust piping" quiet.
