I don't think he meant literally retarded. I'm sure you're familiar with the word "retard" being used as common slang. He doesn't need to "broaden his horizon" at all. He has different taste than you do. He has that right. When somebody doesn't like something that you do, it doesn't mean they're closed minded and need to broaden their horizons. It just means that he doesn't like that style. I don't either. I think it's wierd. If I had to bet money, I'd say the guy driving that car is an eccentric wierdo. Could I be wrong? Of course I could. He could be a great guy with a really bad pollen allergy.
You shouldn't waste your emotions on a difference in opinion with someone you've never met in an internet discussion though.

when I read the comments from all the Asian import & domestic fags I can only think of people with nothing better than to hate on someone for differences.
Just let VW owners do what they do, I'm pretty sure if they wanted a civic they would get one, but I'm guessing most don't want a civic.

nobody wins in these situations, just a bunch of name calling and defensiveness. Some people take this internet shit way to serious. There is always going to be a group of people that do things that are cool on vortex or Honda-tech or whateverthefuckyoudrive.com but in the eyes of the main population on car enthusiast, its retarded.
I wish some of you guys meet some of the decent examples of VW owners in real life and see that the majority are normal people. I don't blow off at other cars or try to get them to race, I don't talk shit about cars that drive by, and the other guy I hang out with don't either.

Um yea but stretch on a rwd car serves no purpose in your eyes does it?? I mean he could fit a size or two bigger tire on there?? Sorry if my post are hard to read no big thing to me, i know his thoughts are his thoughts its whatever dude, just in the end it gets old listening to the same thing over and over agian. honestly a few pages back the thread was going the right way, then it starts all over agian just gets old.
