Maybe i am taking this the wrong way, correct me if i am. Are you saying that it is pathetic that the clerk shot this robber? as if they were just some honest person who needed a prescription filled?

Chances are the robber was stealing the pills to sell, pharmacy drugs sell for good mone too. I say BRAVO to the clerk for not putting up with scum.

 

Eh, yeah, you totally misinterpreted what I was saying. I was originally under the impression that the clerk was killed and another clerk was wounded. Now I found out the clerk is alive and the robber died. I didn't think they caught the robber. I'm saying it's pathetic that in this day and age you have people robbing a pharmacy! ...and with that said, I find it sad that a pharmacist needs to be prepared in that sense for something like that to happen--but I'm glad he/she was prepared. I just wish the world would calm down as a whole. I hate to think about what it's going to be like for my grandchildren.

 

Ah k, yeah it sucks, but unfortournately its the society we live in, everyone has someone to blame for it, but no matter who is at fault, its where we are today. I carry a gun most times, not because i believe im some bad ass or anything, i do it because it is not an unlikely scenario of me being robbed while walking down the street, people are fucked these days. Also as to your comment about the Pharmacy empoyee's being trained for such an occasion or better prepared, i totally agree. I believe any high risk store for robbery should be allowed to carry. Pharamcies are being targted much more frequently.

 

I had a high school teacher who delivered medicine for a pharmacy during college and he was held up several times because many of the customers who were on a fixed income lived in lower-class sections of town.

i dont care who you are or where you are at....some piece of shit is going to try to take advantage of you. peace through superior fire power. clerk is in stable condition as of a few minutes ago.
