Just wondering if there is any live music going on around the area. A co-worker and myself are basically looking for anything in the rock genre, from punk to metal. He being a former bassist and myself just being a music lover have not found anything in the area yet. If anyone knows of any half decent spots or some decent local bands that may match what we are looking for don't be afraid to post them up. We are willing to take all advice to find some decent tunes. Thanks.

Also any spots were some bigger bands may come in and play would also be helpful.

 

There's a local cover band every Friday and Saturday night at Cheyenne Supper Club in Hampton.

Really interested more in the latter. Where I'm from some bigger name bands would cycle in through some of the bigger bars as well, not sure if that was the case down here.

 

There are bands at the oceanfront every night. 7th st, 17th st, 24th and 31st. Mostly coverbands but they play some current stuff. Check out this website www.Meona.net it lists every band at every venue.

pretty good band. they got some good shows coming up too! especially with the ASL and dance gavin dance i might have to check that out
