El Paso - Mexican food. Located at Parham and Brook Rd. For almost a year I went there for lunch EVERY day and never got tired of it.

Phat Boyz BBQ - BBQ and other homemade type food. Located on Washington Hwy past VCC mall on the left beside Green Top.

Like someone else already said, Galaxy is good.

Farouk's House of India on Cary

I just went there last week for the first time and it has excellent food. I didn't think I'd like Indian food, but this place definitely proved me wrong. They have really good service too. My water was always immediately filled back up when it got to the bottom haha.

You NEED to get your butt in there. The kitchen is so tiny but the food that comes out of there is TO DIE FOR.

And I had Sushi Go Around today...so freakin good....and fun

typically at a seafood place (or most any restaurants), specials mean that they're trying to get rid of last week's fish.

Yeah, I hear that. I think he was talking more about a discounted price on crabs for just a specific time on that day. Kinda like happy hour.

You should give Curry House in Innsbrook a shot. My Indian friends always tell me that all Indian restaurants in Richmond suck, but Curry House is somewhat acceptable (though bland and Americanized to them). Good enough for me though! Their chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and pakora are all bangin.
