Depends on what trap speeds you compare to. On Dragtimes most are right around the same. On the vette forum thay are obviously higher.

I didnt not realize they were sub 12's stock, only becuase I have never seen a C5 run that fast and i am sure nobody else in this area has... now stock sub 12's is not common acording to the vette forums it has happend.

Also the vette weighs what 3300-3400 with driver and 350-360whp. mathmaticaly sub 12's isnt possible... It has happend though. Just interesting to me.

I have pulled a C5 Z06 a few C5 and C6's all in this area. Both c6's were autos.

Everyone is comparing Z5 gears and weights etc...

The M5 out gears the Z as I have posted earlier and with 30-40whp advantage mathmatically I should pull a stock Z.

I have and I am ready to do it again and provide all the proof everyone needs.

I should be able to trap 114 with the drag radials now as I get 0 wheel spin.

Hell foxbody mustangs (3200lbs with driver) have run high 11's with 300whp.

 

Believe me if everyone agreed with yoru statement I wouldnt be here trying to prove something.

You cannot effectivly compare vehicle performace when only a hand full C5Z's have been sub 12 stock. The average Z is running mid 12's... did i get lucky? posssibly or did I just run an average stock C5Z?

I know what I did and the run was each time. I have run quite a few guys around here from F bodies, imports, Dodges (all kinds) Mustangs etc. i have run a bunch and I am sure some of those guys are on this board and can provide some feedback about just how my car pulls. The only car I have met up with so far that pulled me is my buddies C5 vette (430whp) and his mustang (480whp)

I am interested to see what is said when I do meet up and video a me pulling on a C5Z? Will everyone admit they were wrong or will it just be a bad driver?

What is funny is that I have never once said I would beat every Z06 or that my car was the fastest etc... What I have said is that I pulled a few C5z's...

Which is 100% true.

Oh I know not all of them run 11's stock. Its very rare that they do, but it CAN happen. My post was mainly in response to the "its not mathematically possible" thing.

Just about everything with cars is defying physics.

 

I saw the video............................................. ..........................and that wasnt the out come and it wasn't even a Z
