Default Clicking Noise Ford Escape

I have a 2001 Ford Escape.....When ever i turn the steering wheel left/right i hear a click noise....noise is generated from the front of the car....noise occurs every two/three days.....any suggestions....

Is it when you start turning, when you're turning all the way to the lock, when you're sitting still or moving, under power or coasting, under braking, etc.? Think about these conditions and give more info.

if the car is FWD, then it's most likely bad CV Joints.

i hear the sound either standing still or moving.....and this might sound strange but i only hear it when its really hot outside.....

It is FWD, but if he is sitting still i think it is steering related

the expeditions have a bad problem with the upper bushings and ball joints...have not heard the escapes having it but with ford engineering im sure that could be the problem...

im pretty sure the escape is fwd. probably cv joints.
