Is that a 750? We should get up and go riding sometime. I have an 08 GSX-R600 with the same color as your other bike. I don't really know that many people to ride with. Now that I think of it I believe I saw you ride through wal-mart last Sunday night, if so that bike does sound good.

We can def get up and ride together if you would like. A few of us usually ride every weekend.
Cause I know tons of people that have wrecked on bikes (and some die) or gotten hit - and they were good riders - so it had nothing to do with skill. Two of my friends in one week last month. It seems like anyone that owns a bike will at one point wreck it or get hit. The stats are ridiculous. Nothing against bikers, or bikes - they're awesome. But there's absolutely no protection on them.

Ignorance.

I see exactly where you're coming from. I say continue to ride, there's not much you can do to control the situation; if something happens then it happens - it was supposed to happen. It doesn't mean not ever leave your house, or drive a car, or go sky diving, etc...Cause life would suck. But I personally believe if there is something like that with such a high statistic of crashes/deaths, then I want to try and avoid it - at least some. I love motocross and I used to ride, along with other powersports, but getting a bike and riding all the time isn't something I plan to do. I'll go fast and enjoy the similar feelings in my metal shelled car.
Although I know nothing feels the same as the open air on a bike...and the crazy acceleration!!

I'm sorry to hear that. The saying is, "its not if you will go down but when you will go down". To a point I think it is true. However, I also believe strongly that things happen for a reason and if and when it is my time it will happen no matter what I'm doing. Therefore I will continue to wear protective gear and be as alert as possible and most of all continue to enjoy my life while I have the ability to.

You can say that again! Boy was it nice to get out again today. I only rode for about 5 minutes but it was great to get the bike back out on the road. I haven't ridden in like 3+ weeks for obvious reasons.
