I say again... the bottom end will need to be pulled, Did you not read what you quoted... That is all you need to know. If you are interested, buy it knowing the block is not salvageable.
knowing what happened to it is vital information. that way one can really tell what they are getting into. if it's just a knock, might be able to get away with a bearing kit. if it grenaded a piston, you might have to replace the entire head, so therefor it would need a whole new motor, not just a bottom end.
so instead of being an asshat, you could just tell us what actually happened and what the "symptoms" are of this bottom end failure.

First of all, i don't believe you have any intention of buying the car. Second, if it was something as easy as a bearing...i wouldn't have said the bottom is wiped. If there was a problem with the head, i would have mentioned it.... seeing as how the head was pulled to make sure it was OK. I don't need to go into detail about what happened, simply because it is irrelevant to the sale of my vehicle. I have said, more than once, the bottom end is only good for a boat anchor. If i thought it was repairable i would have noted that....
Now if you would kindly get the Fuck out of my thread....
For any one else interested, as i have said several times previous... Buy the car knowing all parts are in good to new standing, except for the block (and rotating mass)....which will need to be swapped out for the one included.
