higher horsepower cars then me like a 290whp car that didnt roll on me till 5th gear ( just using example randy) and another 300whp car that i just rolled on.

Thats the point were making. The fact that with X hp were able to take other cars with higher HP numbers because of weight, gearing, whatever. It was just a general statement.

 

This reasoning is exactly why I'm telling my friend with the 520whp Cobra he will not pull me. I get a 2 car start and get to pick the mph.

well, my car weighs close to 3800lbs with me in it so i dont have that on my side by any means. I do have long high reving gears, i build boost quick and stay in it. my powerband is smooth for the most part. there are many different factors that play in a race, hp is deff by no means the only factor. biggest thing is the driver mod.

Is this the same friend that you told me claims over 550 hp on his Eaton? If so, you will win because he doesn't know anything about his car. Either way, make sure you get it on video.

 

I dont see how that is impossible.... There are more then a few guys who have put down around 540-550 on the Eaton.... With some race gas of course. And they have 1/4 times to back it up as well.

The guy, IronTerp, on svtperformance put down 540rwhp on his StgIII Steig with some race fuel and ran high 10's with it.... Just to name one.
