the reason is:
there is a 8 year old girl thats has kindey failure .. she has to have dialiases every day to save her life there family is very poor...
so what they did was every 1000 bottle caps she get one free day to have dialiases
lets see how many days we can keep this girl alive...

its not the fact one equals the other its the fact that she is getting her life saved
and it is sposed to be on the news in a few days
she went to that school on hampton blvd
across the street from NFCU and the navy lodge

If it's that easy to save her life, why can't they just do it? WTF is the point of bottle caps?
If she dies, are they seriously going to say "Well you should have just collected more bottle caps, it's not our problem."?

seen it done in the past with the little tabs off of canned soda. Some company steps in (usualy coke/pepsi one of those) and offers to pay X amount for every X amount of bottle caps/tabs....kinda cool when you think about it on the companies behalf...even though they're making sure they're getting their money first before helping anyone (verifying sales with the bottle caps.)
This "hoax" is with can tabs, but I can't see it working with bottle caps either. Maybe you should confirm this with the hospital. If anything, I'd like to know how the program works.
We are doing this at my food lion, supposedly for a certain amount of bottle caps the kid gets a free chemo session for cancer. A Kid in suffolk I think, not Norfolk.
