i just got a ticket for 9"front 10"rear and i think its bogus

i read somewhere that 14" is legal?

where do you measure from?

No person shall drive on a public highway any motor vehicle registered as a passenger motor vehicle if it has been modified by alteration of its altitude from the ground to the extent that its bumpers, measured to any point on the lower edge of the main horizontal bumper bar, exclusive of any bumper guards, are not within the range of fourteen inches to twenty-two inches above the ground. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this section, the range of bumper heights for motor vehicles bearing street rod license plates issued pursuant to § 46.2-747 shall be nine to twenty-two inches.

no where on my front is there a 9" measurement... he was just being an asshole

 

thats such a big controversy. my bros fiance's dad was a cop. he says that its not true. some say cops go out and are required to get a certain amount of a set law(say X amount of stop lights/signs)

but yeah, there are a shitload of them out lately

 

So go to court and get it dismissed and make sure you state that your suspension is equal to an oem replacement. I'm gonna start carrying measuring tape in my car...
