Default EMF GUY NEEDS TO BORROW: Valve spring compressor for DOHC VTEC head....

Hayy

Does anyone locally have a valve spring compressor or a tool that will work with a DOHC VTEC b-series head? My ***** Jeremy and I need one to do his vlaves and from what I can tell only Snap-on offers one and I don't even care to know how much that costs. He's EMF or whatever that is if that helps. THX

Can't he get one from Autozone? I am sure they will let him use it being he is EMF. Then again, shouldn't he already have one?

Nah all of the local ones are for V8's and such. No room to get down into the tall DOHC VTEC heads. And bap-geon only offers one for the SOHC heads. I was told that a modified motorcycle tool would work but I don't even know where to begin with that.

Ryan, I have a valve spring tool. I'm not sure if it will work for that head, but you are more than welcome to come get it and find out.
