Question Shop to do a lx to ex head swap

Hey guys,

Im looking for a shop in the NOVA area that does head swaps.. Any places u guys recommend.. Thanks.

Yeah I know its like people who buy work miester wheels just to sell them 2 seconds later or people who buy superchargers just to sell them or people who buy supercharged navigators, no point all stupid

also FYI it would help if you gave the engine code seeing that an optional engines was available for the ex model.

It's the D17a2 head.. Im goin N/A so it will be better in the long run when i get my cam which they only sell aftermarket ex cams or u can send ur stock one off to get regrinded..

Man you can do it yourself, if the newer d series(01+) are like the old ones(00 and below) all you have to do is swap the heads and get a ex harness. No head tapping or any other work required(other than removing one head and putting on the other).

Yeah i was thinking bout doing it myself with help from my cousin after i looked into it somemore.. Once i get the cam down the road though.. I'm gonna want a shop to install it..

there was one minor modification you had to pull out a little oil jet from the block. But in reading about the newer D series heads/blocks this isn't an issue.

Yeah. Steve im gonna post a thread up on honda-tech to doublecheck.. I should have the head in bout 2 weeks. Ill let u know when im ready.. U think Travis or Anthony would mind helping?????
