IMO the NSX and the GTR arent even in the same class of vehicle so i dont really understand the reason behind the comparison. the GT-R is japanese muscle in a way whereas the NSX is more refined and closer to the supercar. Though the new GT-R has stepped up its game, the R-34's and lower have never been in the conversation with ferraris and lamborghinis.

Contrary to my name, i really REALLY DO love the GT-R and am seriously considering buying one but the NSX is my dream car.

 

I want them to do what they did in 91..... make everyone else step up their game. I think we are in an amazing time for motoring.

What has come out lately?
GT-R, Vette ZR1, Evo X, F430 Scuderia, IS-F, Audi R8, AMG SL65 Black, etc.
What are we waiting on?
NSX replacement, Camaro, Supra replacement, 4dr Lambo and Porsche, etc.

With gas prices going up I think there will be a short void in performance, like the early mid to early 80s followed by performance coming back stronger than ever. Look at the cars we had in 85 and what came out in 89-91 (M3, F40, NSX).

 

I swear that is a 350Z under there lol. They are straying so far from the origional NSX It isnt sleek at all.

 

Cars just really aren't sleek anymore....

 

in the last 2 weeks gas went from 120+ per barrel to 70. gas is going down bro.

I don't know about this...cars are pretty fast right now with a shitload of power, honda/acura has been out of the game for a very long time, and even in the NSX days they wern't near any top sports cars power range...

I expect the next NSX will be a very good performer, however it will be interesting to see just what acura can do when aiming at the supercars.

I'm not bias, would love to see an NSX come out and hang with the supercars.

Power to weight the NSX was as fast if not faster then a Ferrari (super car) . It was on top gear or something they did a comparison ..V6 power it made something like 280hp (give or take) with the same engine of a Honda accord and kept up with a v8 hmm now they are going with a v10 with vtec they should blow out the gtr and many others .The price is whats going to limit them if there priced in the same range as a Ferrari or a Lambo or even the porsche Gt3 then i doubt they will sell that many .
