I'm gonna ask this is in here since this thread revolves around driving.

Does anyone else have the problem with stock, non-performance oriented cars trying to race you? Now, I don't race my car at all. I don't care if a sports/modified car pulls up next to me, I just don't do it. In the past month I've had an Explorer, an old Galant with shitty chrome wheels and now a Volvo wagon try to race me.

I'm driving down 64 heading to lunch and I notice out out of the corner of my eye that this car slowed down and is now pacing me. I figured it might be someone I know, so I look over, yeah it wasn't. Dude stares at me (he's in a Volvo wagon) and floors it. WTF.

Anyways, I doubt he's on here, but if he is, nice Hawaiian flowered seat covers, faggot.

 

I have people do that everytime i drive. No matter what. I usually just laugh and keep driving at my regular pace. I always find trucks doing it more though than sedans or such. Big bad truckers
I mean i might temp them to go or something, considering i usually shift around 3500-4000 or so. Idk people just wanna feel good about their volvo stationwagon ? lawl.

 

Yeah, all of the instances I've had in the last month have been on the highway with me cruising around 65, so there was no tempting by me.

 

Weird. I usually am never on the highway so don't see that much.

They have the satisfaction that they beat you on the highway when they go home. Makes them feel better about themselves. I always just laugh it off or call the person a dumbass when they almost crash because they wanted to try and race in traffic.

I get a shit ton of the 8th gens trying to race me. All of them are ex's though. Thats usually when i laugh the hardest. They be foamin' i got the better car

 

Nothing on my car screams "HEI GUISE LOOK AT ME I'M TRYNA RACE!"

The only body modification on my car is a front lip, no stickers and the car is lowered with silver RPF-1s. There's nothing attention grabbing about it.

 

i have some of the stupidest cars also try to race me in my hatch
but it does scream haiiii look at me lol
