let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
thinking about this more it HAS to be the gasket for whatever reason. theres no was you can get coolent in the cylinders, and on top of that mix coolent/oil at the same time. you would have to do something REALLY crazy with the lines for this to happen, mix an oil/coolent line and a coolent/vac line at the same time hahah. which is why i say hg, now as to why it's pushing is the real question.
One thing to add is when I pulled them off, there were many places where the whole gasket was wet, much on the inside. That would mean it is not seating down, right? And there is only one way the head gasket can go on, thats not a problem. Now as far as the studs go, they were just hand tight and torqued into sequence. Is there anything else special that should be done?
when i say headgasket i mean that by saying the block or head. like i said before i highly doube't it would be 2 gaskets, theres some reason the gaskets arn't sealing.
I would love to think its the headgaskets but 2 in a row? I can't think that it would be the block because its not just one or two cylinders.

I know it took 2-3 of us to pry that bitch off.
whats up with that!it should not take much at all to pull the head back off with a new gasket or even an old one.

Hey guys, I just wanted to post on here before I put it on ebay, but I have a 6-bolt short block that I'm trying to get rid of, as I sold my project TSi. It's just block, crank, pistons and rods, no pan, but it has the rear mount on it still. It's never been machined besides the factory, and you can still see the cross hatch in the cylinder walls. Oil squirters and everything seem to still be in good shape, and it came out of a running 90 TSI with about 92k miles on it. I don't know what the normal going rate is for these things, so shoot me an offer. I'd like 300, but like i said, open to offers. I can get any pics you want, just hit me up. Thanks guys
