ha yea i should do it but i really have horrible tires and my alignment is way off..im not going to shoot myself in the foot before i go out there..im planning on participating the 7th but still going to come out and watch to see what to expect..see ya there

You can autocross and have a blast in any car that will pass tech.

When I fix my tension rod bracket and get some new tires on I will be out to one of these. Hopefully it'll be the Round 2....but if not I should definitely have my crap together for Round 3!

In Durham? There are lots of autoXes within ~2 hours of there... including but certainly not limited to those described in this thread.

Unless of course you're actually somewhere else.

Well Durham is still less than 2 hours from VMP. Reg & tech open at 10am so it's not like you'd need to leave home before sunrise or anything. Mapquest to 8018 Boydton Plank Rd, Petersburg VA 23803.

We had people from that area at this past Sunday's event. Also people from western VA, northern VA, Washington DC, Maryland, West Virginia, etc.

Long story short, people definitely travel for winter events. Better than no events at all.
