There needs to be some sort of test before people can reply in Tech Talk. Holy fuck there is a lot of misinformation.

First off.. figure out what you have. Exactly.

Second... figure out what you want to do with it. All motor/boost etc.

Third.. Figure out your budget.

Those will be the major factors to determine what you can do.

First off.. figure out what you have. Exactly. 99 si block and a v tec head off a gsr

Second... figure out what you want to do with it. All motor/boost etc. if i knew enough about what i could do i would not to i would not be asking you

Third.. Figure out your budget. would like to spend under $10,000 at least for now

Those will be the major factors to determine what you can do.

Well decide if you want to boost it or go all motor.

You go in two very different directions to do either.

How much power do you want? Is it going to be daily driven?

Well in that case take it to a shop and tell them you want boost or a na setup and give them $10k and let them build it.

To do turbo right, you need to know what you are doing and what to look for.

You'll need fuel upgrades and a good tuner to tune the car. Then you'll need self control not to turn the boost up past the cars capabilities before it goes BOOM.

A typical good NA build should net anywhere from 170whp - 220whp on a b-series motor, depending on what block and internals you go with.
