Ok I need someone to help me with my computer it has been acting slow lately. I did a few different scan's on it and a bunch of stuff came up like spyware, adware, trojon's, etc you get the picture..

I downloaded malawarebytes, super antispyware free edition,and avg free 8.0 I scanned the computer at least 5 times with each program lol I have a problem with pop up windows saying antivirus 2009 and pc secirity shield virus shit it's really pissing me off because some stuff doesn't load on web pages and it's not how it used to be. This happened about two weeks ago. I don't know what else to try...

So does anyone have anymore suggestions for me???? I just want my computer back to running normal and be fast again.

Maybe someone that knows computers very well can come by my house and check it out or tell me something to fix the problem. Let me know thanks!!

 

where are you?? i know that antivirus 2009 program is a nasty virus. my wife downloaded it onto her comp and it gave me a real headache trying to get rid of it.

the only programs you need are SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY and HIJACK THIS/ KILL BOX. TRENDS MICRO also has a free scan service called HOUSECALL that has been a lifesaver for me several times.

if youre in Hampton roads i can prolly help you out in person. DEFINITELY download spybot search and destroy asap...

 

Spyboy and Malwarebytes have always worked well for me.

I just got rid of the Rapid Antiviurs- virus (yes ironic)

 

Researching the virus is probably the only way you will get rid of it. You will probably need to remove it manually... no big deal. Best thing to do is to boot the hard drive on another computer, and run ccleaner,cleanup malwarebytes, superantispyware, hitmanpro, combofix, kaspersky av. If you are trying to remove spyware / virus from a computer that is running it can bypass the spyware and start running again. If you do not have a second computer you can remove it via safe mode. Make sure that you update all of the programs, and disconnect your internet connection.

Make sure you disable system restore as well. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405

If you run all of those correctly you will remove it. I get at least one computer every few weeks with one of the winantivirus programs.

 

Get spybot, dont get hijack this unless someone helps you along the way because you can ruin your computer if you dont watch what you do.

 

Spybot does not work on winantivirus.
