To me it has nothing to do with whether I'm a v8 guy or not. I mean it's a matter of hey, it's a focus. It looks like a 16yo girls first car and it always will. Then they spend over 25k putting a v8 in it. It's not that fast really, and it still looks like a 16yo girls first car. A focus is a focus is a focus. That's my point.

He did great work and it's cool that he likes it. He should keep it though, cuz it's still a piss yellow focus. Maybe he can give it to his daughter

 

Pastel yellow is for homos... Ford really screwed up when they did away w/ chrome yellow and went to zinc yellow. At least they came back strong for a bit w/ Screamin' Yellow.

I could have said.... "Maybe he wants a girls car with a V8 because he doesn't want everyone to think he is compensating for a small dick by driving some over-the-top sports car" but I didn't because it's a bad stereo-type and I'm not here to say angry things to/about people like " you don't sound very smart". Depends on the year... earlier ones are chrome yellow... the later ones are screamin'. But... if not cared for chrome yellow fades quickly and looks close to zinc yellow.

Sarcasim can easily be taken as hostility or anger. I apologize if you didn't mean anything by saying " you don't sound smart" or " you are sad ", they sound like cheap shots to me.
It doesn't bother me that it's in your sig. I understand that your proud of your 'vette and that you are a "purist" of sorts, it just sounded like you were trying to put it out there a little strong. It's all over your sig/avatar, yet you still feel the need to say....."and continue driving my corvette that was designed for a v8." instead of something more like.
" I would only drive a car designed for a V8, not just any old car with a V8 installed "
But we should get back on topic like you said, I just wanted to clear that up.

Has nothing to do with V8 "haters". If it were a Corsica, Taurus, or Duster I would still say the same. He has talent, and knows how to nicely mod a car.
