Cuz the value of vettes is sinking like crazy.

I bought mine almost 3 years ago and was in it pretty well, def. can't get back what I paid now...

Cause vettes are one of the cheapest higher-performance sports cars out there - even though they're still good cars.

If you said 911 Turbos, Ferraris, Aston Martins, etc ($100k+) (even though those are way down in price now too )... You may have a case. But keep in mind, most of the people really affected by all this economic mess are the people who can afford that stuff anyways.. Most of the wealthier crowd is doing fine, unless their business tanked. Businesses dependent on sales and various things like that are taking the biggest hit; but lawyers, doctors, and other professionals required for daily life aren't hurting nearly as much because people need them regardless of how the economy is.

And btw, there are a handful of wealthy people in Lynchburg, we've had many of them as customers at our dealership here in Roanoke... The economy isn't hurting them that much, i guarantee. so you'll continue to see plenty of neat cars around i'm sure.

People don't own STis and EVO's just for winter. They're out year-round.

There are a handful of them here, but mostly hondas, mustangs (ugly ones generally), some vettes, RSXs, WRXs, preludes, etc.

There are some sick porsches, zo6s, AMGs, Aston Martins, Ferraris, couple supras, and other more rare cars that you'll see rolling around - but that's generally dependent on which part of Roanoke you're driving in at the time heh.
