I mean if you're trying to compare them with turbo mustangs then yea you're on track, but you're talking about Fredericksburg street cars here where the average "nasty car" runs 14.5.

You all talk shit like this on here, but like I said, it's all talk, Like I said before, when I can roll up in a fucking eagle summit sedan on a street tire with pump gas and single turbo supras, bikes, and nitrous v8s are backing down, it's a sad sad state of affairs. It's hilarious how much things change when cars show up in person at the meet spots vs all the talk on the forums. Some people think that because they don't see a car every week that it doesn't exist or doesn't get driven. Think again.

I could write a book with all the excuses I've heard, and the ironic parts of contradictory excuses from the same people in the same weekend. My favorites are when people are in such denial they are trying to justify why certain cars "don't count" when considering what is and isn't fast.

 

RE-Read everything i said, what ignornant comment did i make that i'm not admitting to? I remember the Colts that were running around here, they were fast and i can admit that. White 2G holds the DSM record for stock block WHP. HighPSI TSi Guy tuned that car, & last i checked owns a 9sec talon. If it wasn't for iraq my talon would be right there beginning of next season.

Last i checked in f'burg theres only umm a handful of 9.99 and faster cars.


If i have to build a car to catch the fastest car in f'burg thats not a huge deal at all I always enjoy a challenge.

 

The reason behind saying everyone is scared of the summit is when everyone sees it nobody and i mean NOBODY wants to race it. Even hybrid kept coming up with excuses when we tried to setup something between dres hatch and the summit. Never met up.

The blue one was a 4 door and is a summit, not a colt. Hell it even still has a stock auto trans, it's not even a 5 speed! Straight out of grandma's driveway. Everything I mentioned happened this past summer. But to say there are no fast of a certain car because you've only seen one run 7s is ridiculous. I bet if I asked you if you knew of any "nasty hondas" you'd list 5 immediately that run 11s or slower. Which defies your logic. How many unibody 7 second hondas are there? oh yea, none. I don't give two shits about glory. If I did I would have come right out and brought up the topic of my own car from the start. Not knowing about my car is understandable because I've avoided crowds with it for the last couple years just because I got tired of the drama. You've named the major players for the most part otherwise but there are a quite a few other DSMs that lurk around here that aren't far behind.

I'm not here to talk shit about how everyone else sucks or talk shit about any one person or anything like that, I'm just setting things straight and pointing out flawed logic. I'm not speaking for anyone else.

Not having tags on a car is a perfectly valid excuse for not bringing it on the street, I wouldn't bring out a car either if it didn't have tags. But I wasn't a part of that conversation aside from passing on a message here and there so whatever, I don't know the whole story and therefore it's not my place to judge.

I think any one that's been around here for more than a couple years knows what the last car to TRULY dominate the area really was anyways. Unfortunately those days are an urban legend nowadays that these guys are probably too young to have even heard of. Maybe that will change next season if people can stop fucking up all the hangout spots and certain cars can come back to remind everyone they still exist.
