1998 Pontiac Trans Am
Name: Jared
Location: VB, VA
Means on contact: PM, this thread, or email: glockfanatic23 at yahoo.com
Trades: No trades
Price: $7,500 OBO
The car is an A4(auto) with 3.23 rear end. It has less than 81k miles, completely stock other than an SLP lid w/ K&N filter and Hooker Aerochamber catback exhaust. Also, I have a set of Corvette ZR1 wheels that are on the car that will go with it if I get a reasonable offer. Along with the car I have a Sony headunit with aux input for Ipod/Zune and USB, Kenwood amp and 10" Sony sub. I have the stock wheels with new Bridgestone Potenza tires, as well as the stock lid, firebird decals for the ZR1 wheels, 3" Pacesetter ORY not installed, SLP performance car cover, extra fog light, Haynes manual, t-top weather stripping, and four decals for whatever else you would like to use them for.
I replaced the passenger tie rod end at 79k. Inspection was done September. The weather stripping was replaced not too long ago. Interior is really clean I would give it a 8.5-10. Paint has a few chips up front from normal highway use.

The tires are 275's so you can't get too much bigger on 17x9.5 and the car sits low. But I do agree with you, it needs lowered another inch. I wanted to wait until my LT's and ORY were on to see how much clearance there was.
If it doesn't sell for what I want it will be garaged and cut in to. Thanks for the bump.

I thought this was your dream car .... made a thread about finally getting a fbody, tried to put together a fbody meet .... now just a couple short months later its forsale .... what gives?
Deployment gives. I don't want my wife having to take care of all three vehicles. I didn't know our work-up schedule was going to be so hectic. From Feb to late Oct we will only be in port 58 days.
I didn't factor all this in and I had initially planned on selling my Tahoe. The truck is a better vehicle for practicality. A 1400 mile trip to Texas with two dogs will be hard in a Trans Am.
If all else fails it will get garaged until I return and I try to sell it again or I ship it home to my fathers.
Life happens...

Sounds like I gave you a little bit of an influence. Deployments change a lot of thinking process, especially when it deals with performance vehicles that you cant touch for atleast 12 months. Nice looking car, good luck with sale.
No, I have had it for sale on CL for a couple weeks or so. I didn't realize what I was in for with the work up schedule and then deployment. I still want to do a few things to my two door as well. Basically I fucked myself with an impulse buy. I can afford to keep it and garage it, but the wasn't my intentions.
Hopefully some will make me an offer I can't refuse.
But after reading our post today I can fully relate.
