Question ITR motor into a GS-R

It may sound like a silly question to you, but hey I am new to the import performace section.

I currently have a 97 integra GS-R with:
LS motor
GS-R Tranny
GS-R wiring
GS-R ECU

Now for the questions:
What advantage would i get with the ITR engine over a stock GS-R engine? Both have Vtec.
I would lose LSD on the tranny unless i get the ITR tranny correct?
What else would I need besides the motor to put the ITR in my GS-R body and engine bay?

What other Questions should I be asking?

I have a limited time frame to get an ITR motor, so just look for some quick by informative answers.

you could save yourself alot of money and beat up most street cars if you just get a vtec head i.e b16, GSR, or type r and boost it.

theres about a 60hp gain at the crank, you would only really need the motor and ecu but you would have to have your vtec wired (2 wires) for it to engage, everything else is interchangable

O.P., you said you have a gsr harness already so you should not have to wire vtec. should just be a plug and play swap with the motor and ecu

That is correct I am running a 96 LS motor on a completely stock GSR harness and ECU, VTEC and all should be there. But I still need the other ECU, well darn.
For that little bit of gain and what I would have to put into the motor it may not be worth it. Might just pick up a GSR LB for 1500.

(Stupid question: whats O.P.?)
