That's funny ... according to my "book", it says 400-500 rounds. Next time, break her in using the Manual and not the "book".

Bump for an awesome gun. Buyer won't get disappointed.

The reason why I believe that it is bad because most people don't realize that they shouldn't purchase a firearm for home/self defense and use it for such until the firearm has been broken in. So if the main intent for a buyer to purchase this handgun is to use it for self-defense, he or she should be warned not to use it as such until it is broken it, or it might fail them in a life or death situation. A person who has not broken in a 1911 will surely have failures to feed or failures to eject down the road so the handgun shouldn't be used in a life or death situation.

I have a life as a very safety minded firearms enthusiasts. I am sorry if you feel that my input is worthless, but I have stated my point and made you look dumb. I am also not a "know it all" (i don't take offense) but I have done my fair amount of research on firearms (especially on 1911 style handguns) and would like to take certain things seriously, especially to a first time buyer or a buyer that isn't as well versed as me in firearms and dependability of such.
