LX-I or SE-I? and there arent any mpfi systems for the A series, possibly look into a B series form, but I doubt it. and as far as swaps, A series and B series are what you can use.

you'd actually be surprised about what people do to their accords. currently there's a ton of turboed cars, several motor swaps, and even a guy who converted his to RWD w/ a rear mounted engine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qrXcTo7cpc). one of the turbo guys has his car down into the 11sec range in quarter mile.

to all who say they are "piece of shit cars".....you just adding to the ignorant spew of CRAP that comes out of every honda owners mouth i run into. just becasue you cant talk and dream about swapping in some bastardized b series motor, to give it 20 hp more than stock, doesnet make it junk. my first car was an 86lxi. i loved it. had 300000 miles when i got rid of it, it ran its ass off, was plenty quick for a mid 80's econo car, i only got rid of it becasuse my ex made me becasue it was "ugly". So fuck you you ingnorant faggots. TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER. when i had my lxi, i DESPERATLEY wanted to do a swap. as it happened, i BELIEVE hasport made a b16 motor mount set for the car......food for thought. im VERY fuzzy at this poiint, this was 6-7 years ago....before i realized modding a honda was a waste of effort and money. but, check out the 3 geez website if its still up.....theres plenty of conversions been done, and they look GOOD. as apposed to the hack jobed wrecks that the haters in this thread drive/have on jackstands in the backyard.

A B-series swap is possible, however the mounts are hard to come by these days. There was just a discussion on HT about it recently.

As recommended 3geez is probably the place you want to ask.
