Anyone down to play golf tomorrow around the Peninsula?
yeah. I really need to work on my drives off the tee's, and putting.
those are my real problem areas.
For some ?reason? 75% of my tee shots always hook right. Im getting tired of it. I've changed grip/stance/clubs/swing positions...I used my dads driver one day and every time I used it, straight as an arrow.

Well right now I have a Taylormade T1 bubble2shaft. It says R-80 on the shaft next to the grip.
My dad had a Nike Sasquatch Driver. Not sure on his flex.

If you're going to be getting real serious, I suggest you at least go get a ball fitting done. Golf Galaxy will do them for $20. At that time, they should be able to give you an idea of what your clubhead speed, launch angle and ball speed is. That driver may not be the one for you.
Thats the thing that has me wondering. Right before i bought it i used in on the virtual range at golf galaxy. worked fine.
i dont know.
Ill go see what GG can do tomorrow if i dont go play.
thanks for the tip

Currently, I've got an 07 Burner Driver S flex, 07 Burner fairway S flex, 07 Burner 3h and 4h S flex, R7 irons 5-PW S flex, Cleveland CG11 52*, 56* and 60* wedges. And putter varies on the mood my in. lol.
As for that simulator, you can't really trust that at all. It tries to do a lot of complicated math the minute you hit the ball. The biggest thing to watch out for in there is your ball speed. Everything else is more or less a lie. I can have a 98mph swing one time and then make the exact same swing and it's 114mph. Plus the launch angles are all whacked out.
For the most accurate numbers, get on the ball fitting machine. It's got a camera that figures all that out. If you watch the PGA Tour at all, it's pretty similar to that TrackMan that you see them use.
well im not all "in to it" like you are.
I want to be like that tho. Its a interesting sport, with all the physics involved and whatnot.
Ill stop by GG and see what the deal is with my club/swing/etc...

There's a course here in Virginia Beach that's $18 to walk. I mean, c'mon. $1/hole?! And it's a pretty challenging course too, especially the back 9. So I like going over there to practice.
