I am thinking that is why he got what he did.

 

The conviction for Voluntary Manslaughter is rediculous. I hope they only sentence him to one year for that bullshit charge.

Yes, but he SHOULDNT. That is a bullshit conviction from a bullshit raid for some bullshit that a career witness told them.

 

Hopefully the jury won't give the judge a chance.

i would appeal the shit out of that finding. if the case got out of the virginia court systems i bet he would have the charges dropped.... or at least reduced to the year he's been locked up so far.

 

This is yet another reason why VA needs the Castle Doctrine.

 

So let me get this straight. He is in his house, and the police start banging on the door. He shoots the door, kills a cop on the other side, the cops finally bust in and arrest him. Am I right? This is the first I have heard about this case so that's just what I have gathered from the thread.
