VB cops are assholes!!!!
I have never gotten any tickets except for in VA beach. For freakin exhaust and the stupid licsense plate was mounted in my window, then one for not having amber turn signals, its crazy I am a MP and my dad works in the VB jail and they "vb cops" dont give a shit. But then again the law is the law and we have to obey by it. So i cant complain much.. They just do the job they are supposed to do.

I'm too afraid to go to VB from all the stories I hear. Cops I meet like my car because it's unique, but it sounds like in VB I would get an exhaust ticket because they don't know the term "officer discretion"

The law is the law, but I think the chief of police at my undergrad (who had been a police officer in a major metro area for over a decade) - the police can only be effective when the people want to help them, so you let them go with warnings on little things so they'll help you with the big things.

I think i know what part he is talking about... but im not so sure its 4 inchs.. but it is damn close to it. i would say its 6 or so. just a rough guess...Im sure that is not where the law states im just saying how low that particular part is to the ground

If he's talking about MD I think he meant 4, but to the bottom of the bumper. That's the old law and I think MD still uses it.
