i got pulled over last friday the 13th while on a beer run, after i had blazed up, so i thought that i wasnt driving normally and about shit my pants when he pulled me over cuz i thought he knew i was under the influence of something. turns out it was my blue led's that i had as my parking lights, thank god. well long story short i got a ticket for improper light. i thought i read somewher that you couldnt have RED led's in your headlight housing in VA. guess i was wrong, but i'm taking this sh*t to court bcuz im not gettin a ticket over stupid sh*t like this.

anyone have any idea's of what i can say to defend my blue led's? im not really familiar with all the laws and sh*t so i figured some ofyou guys who have more experience could help me out.

yeah what was even worse is that i was with one of my good friends who happens to be a pretty big dealer in town and has been caught on many possesion charges , but i guess the cop didnt see him bcuz my car is pretty low and he was about 6'1 or 6'2 luckily. I pretty much thought my life was going to be over right there, but in the end, it made me chuckle and i got a reality check.

I'm starting to think that i won' be able to win in court by reading over this thread again since the led's aren't DOT approved right?
