I avoid the whole issue and run a front tag. I have better things to spend my $$$ on then paying fines and court costs. There are several quick and inexpensive mods that can be done to run a front tag while at the same time still giving the C5 the slick finished appearance as with a fill plate.

yea, im going over my options. when i got home with the ticket i put together a a quick bracket that holds it off to the side like the 'show n go' while i decide between the painted clear cover or a smoothed and painted surround.

Of course that can vary from insurance company to insurance company based on their underwriting guidelines.

and i know the top 5 insurers do underwrite for seatbelt tickets....

I don't have FP's and I never had them on past cars and not one problem even when pulled over.
