the Caliber SRT-4 is a much better platform handsdown. basically a stage 2 out of the box.

 

08 cruise control,u connect, u web surf with you laptop while driving,garage door remote,tels you tire pressure. chiller in the glove box and all kind of gadgets. 04 everybody picks on cause roll up windows in the back,neon interior with nice seats. thats about it. in there own way, i like both.

 

Making U-turns are a bitch and the roll up rear windows are the only downfalls for me. Sure its a neon and doesnt really bother me. Quick car for what it is.

 

only thing that gets me is the no cruise control and no power windows in the rear but im pretty sure you could change that I wanted one myself

 

Yeah there are kits for it but im lazy and havent bought them yet.

 

the rear window kit is only $180. But the pods look like 1st gen ones.

 

If you have a sunroof there is no need to roll down the rear windows.

i have a sunroof. I cant think of anytime in the 3yrs ive owned my car where i rolled the rears down for anything.

 

to hell with spending $180 on REAR power windows....obviously, it isnt goin to bother you, the driver....the only people who it might matter are whoever is sitting in the back, and unless those back seat riders want to dish out the money for power windows, they can take their lazy asses and roll it down their damn selves!!!!

oh, and I agree, the SRT Caliber is actually pretty nice IMO....

 

Yeah i never rolled down the rear windows since ive owned the car. Fronts down and sunroof open. Im never going to sit back there so i guess no reason to buy the kit.
