Wrecked 97 civic
So not to long ago my 97 civic 4 door got t boned. I currently have it at a shop right now and the other drivers insurance company is taking the bill. I cant help but to think i am getting the run around from the body shop.
First off i was told the car would be ready in 4days, this is day number 8. When ever i call them they tell me they will call me back, and never do. So i have to keep calling them, to me that is very unprofessional.
The thing that put it on hold was they ordered the wrong doors, they ordered manual doors and i have electric doors. My question is, is there a difference? I would think you would order a bare frame of a 97 civic door then replace the guts of the door. (panels motor glass etc.) Anyone have any experience with this? Both doors are getting replaced.
To be honest in such a hard time you think people would be more on the ball with customer sevice and what not.
Google and search wasnt much help, thanks in advance!

Went to get some kinda of tranny accessory for my swap, I kept telling them what I needed and they kept telling me I needed somethin else.
I was practically begging the guy to order the damn part, then he tells me they are backordered by like 3 months.
Well got the car back today and they ended up using the manual windows. Only thing is that everything worked before i got tboned. Now the front passenger window will only go up and down with the driver sided control and the rear passenger window will not go up or down period. The guy is gonna call me to tell me if they will cover it. I just want my car working like it did before the accident.

take it strait back, thats what i would do ... dont even hesitate, you payed them to do the job and it needs to be complete.. sometimes the power windows need to be reset , im not to sure how it works out but bro had this problem, called the dealer and dealership helped him out through the phone to get the windows working ..
