i have a 60gb backwards compatible ps3 also, that works great. i was holding the 80gb for my brother, but he is content with his 360. so, i'm selling it

yep, you have to go online and fill out an online svc request form. they send you a box and prepaid shipping. then once you have everything packaged, you take it to your nearest ups...or was it fed ex? i'll check to be sure

yes u send it to sony to get it fixed.... its a flat $150 fee, doesnt matter what kind of repair... they send u a pre-paid box to over night ship it to Texas using UPS, usually its a really fast turn around about 3-4 days... and then they send it back in 2-day shipping.... u also get a 3 month warrenty on the work...
