I remember now, it was sueurbantowing.com Its gone now, but that was the website. It had all of the Virginia tow laws listed. My apartment was on the 3rd floor and overlooked the parking lot where my car was parked. When it was nice out I would sit out on and sometimes would catch him towing cars that had stickers on them. One time it was a minivan and the guy ran out after him. After a bit of haggling the guy took it off the truck. They are fast and sneaky (just like repo men I guess). however one time I spied them looking hard at my car at the parking permit sticker but he moved on. The way they would do it was one would walk around the complex with a flash light looking at the cars for stickers. The other would be sitting in the truck and when they found one, the guy with the light would call the guy in the truck and within a few min it would be gone. I know a few people had their sticker on the front window instead of the back and they would tow them. But if you think about it, the best way to steal a car is to pretend to be the towing company.

yup tow cars all the time, we have seen them break into cars to pull down the e-brake. manager said it was legal..... uhh i do not think so. why would you give someone those kind of rights. Seen plenty of cars drug for miles with e-brakes on damaging tires and other parts. real shitty.

henrys towing was the same way here in my parking lot. they took two of my cars one night both with my stickers on the window in the right place.... one of which being my transam.... i did the dance with them and paid for one of my cars. the apt complaex made them bring back the other.....
the next night the same guy tried to tow the car again.....called the cops, strapped my side arm to my hip and i went outside.talked with him for a sec, asked him why he was towing the car. he made something up of course, asked me if i intended to shoot him. i said no, this is for my protection in case he tried to do something unlawful to me since he was stealing my car. cops came and i had him arrested for attempted vehicle theft. his tow truck was towed to impound as well..
EDIT: i remember his excuse now.... its because my car had a cover on it..... this is something i made sure to have a conversation with the apt complex manager and the manager at henry's about. i had an arrangement with both the managers that if anyone wanted to loko at my parking sticker. they had permission to lift my cover and look at my winshield.

I'm 99.999% sure that a Henry's employee jacked all my parts.I also had problems trying to pick up my buddy Cman's m5 from them. Every time I went in they told me I needed some different paperwork to pick it up and they wouldn't even let me look at it. Finally, after a lot of bickering and me threatening to sue them (again) they finally let me look at the car which was untouched, thankfully.

fuck these assholes. they towed my car from my buddies driveway and locked up my rear rotors while in tow.
after many hours of attempting to get a ride to the tow truck place i finally got there at like 3am. i was so pissed that i signed the receipt. "fuck you"... which caused a whole other fiasco
