Default Peninsula machine shop for heads

Hey, I have already searched through here for the answer, and mostly found answers and recommendations in va beach like abacus or the head shop. I just have a 22r head I need resurfaced and would rather stay on my side of the water. Any one have any good suggestions for a good reasonable machine shop over here? Thanks.

I took my 4age head to Apples to get done and I took my built LS head to get done there too. Nothing but good things. Really good price too!

The 4age head got all OEM rebuild and cams with new guides and it got shaved.

The LS Head got everything replaced in it. New cams, springs, retainers..etc and it got shaved too.

i asked the same question a few days ago. Apples is still around but the wanted way to much money over abacus. Also abacus was way more customer friendly than apple's if you care about that kind of stuff. IF you are willing to drive down there is well worth it. I just got back from abacus and chuck is an awesome old man.

Apples is still around. They just got a new shop off production drive in yorktown. They do excellent work and pricing is competitive
