Lets say I want off topic.

Which is the only forums I go into, unless the odd case Im selling or need something.

Well I can just go into off topic anymore to check posts. I have to go to 4 different off topic sub forums to see all of them. It gets annoying.

There are also people that have no interest in the sub-forums under off topic, so it goes both ways.

If you were a Patron you could just select which forums you want to see in get new posts and you'd be set

Most people seem to use it for ignoring the classifieds, but you could use it to ignore everything but off topic.

 

Haha, I hate the new posts button with a passion anyways, even if I could narrow it down, I still wouldnt use it.

And the fact that I would have to pay to use features on most other free sites is a bit ridiculous.

 

Right. It's amazing how many times people get banned and still come back.

 

I mean that just proves you guys are doing something right, right?

 

One would think so. Especially if a user gets banned a few times, but continues to make new names and post.

 

I wonder if you just banned them from a few forums (classifieds, tech, off topic, pretty much everything but off-road), if they'd make another name?

Ignoring certain forums is not built into vBulletin, so I'm not sure where you came up with that little diss at us for the extras Patrons get. Oh well.

 

Then my bad, a few other sites I go to allow me to do that, I guess they arent VBulletin.

But yea, too many sub-forums.
