That's an old school piston design. I didn't know anyone made anything like that anymore except (similar designs) for diesels.

Wow thats badass, def not stock 22r. Kinda wish I would've done some bottom end work on mine, I just did cam, port and polish and shaved down head, but I also did my 86 in the truck haha

Yea the only thing that I am worried about is the tune with the stock efi. I might start it and take it straight to the dyno to make sure my A/F mixtures are right.

im rebuilding one now and have the block, head and crank at abacus. it would be nice to be putting some pistons like those and a cam with duration and lift like that in it. silly budgets..
