Pictures were posted by a Corvetteforum member who just had his home burnt to the ground. He's building a new house and has ordered a 2010 Camaro SS. Pretty crazy what the fire does to the Corvettes composite panels... nothing left except the frame and engine block.

not trying to be a dick, mainly because i don't know much about what is happening or happend in SC, but couldn't he have driven his cars away from the fire?

 

Wait....why didn't they drive the cars away? Were they out of town or something?

 

Fire came up fast in the middle of the night... he said the local Fired dept. saved his life and woke him up in the middle of the night to evacuate him. I guess he drove his truck out.

 

They're GM products. I.E. not worth saving.


I heard the home owner did rush in during the fire to save his signed copies of the Harry Potter trilogy though.

 

or did he want to just get insurance for teh cars so he can get the new camaro easier?
