I would NOT go to freedom. IMO they are very very high priced. I think the people are very nice but hard on the pocket. There are a few places I would check out. First I would go to surf adventure on sandbridge road. They will let you demo longboards for free to make sure you get the one you want. Also if you dont see anything you wanted there I would check out RK's at the oceanfront. They have the best priced boards but most of them will be stamp out boards. They are shaped by a machine and most will be no name boards but you will be able to pick one up for a very good price. Example RK's has paddle boards with a carbon fiber paddle for $900. GL finding them anywhere else around here for less than 1500 w/o a paddle. Also you can bargain the prices at rk's. One of my boards I bought there they wanted $500. I got it for 400 even out the door with a leash and 3 bars of wax.GL and I hope I helped.

Most people dont realize it but all you have to do is ask. Tell them you would like the local discount and MOST of the time they will hook it up. WRV will also bargain on their board prices
Pm me if you want the hook up on a custom board made out of tim nolte's shop. It is sweet to have a custom board with your name under the glass.
