2010 mustang
lol true,Im a huge fan of the older svo stang. Ive heard small rumors that they would bring that powerplant back in the form of an ecoboost engine.
If they do that, Im not sure where the v8 stang is going to fit into a sales strategy but truthfully when has ford ever had one.
out of the box the mustang engines are supposed to line up like this
base v6 mustang, 210 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque
Premium v6 mustang, 210 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque
Ecoboost v6 mustang, 340-415 hp and around 300 toruqe
V8 mustangs,4.6-liter V8 with 315 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque
I heard something about a 5.0 being developed for when they launch the ecoboost powerplant. Of coures they have the roush versions and other spinoffs but unfortunately i done think there will be a saleen since the company split.
This ecoboost thing may give ford the boost it needs to come back. Anyone seen the new show 365hp awd twin turbo v6? sounds crazy.
Edit. ^beat me to it

The problem is as time goes on they moving further and further away from ecoboost in the mustang. There was an interview from a few days ago that I found where they said that "a mustang owner doesn't want a v6. maybe in a few years he will but not today." (or words to that affect).
I don't know who gave us this whole high water line look, but I wish they'd take it back. It worked fine on the older cars which were relatively short (short not referring to overall height off the ground but to the height of the body panels themselves), but it just looks stupid here. This rear end so tall the trunk lid has to extend to the bottom of the taillights needs to go away too. Remember when trunk lids were actual lids? Try doing that with a modern car and nobody short than Kareem Abdul-Jabar would be able to take his groceries home.
