Anybody who has lived in Va long enough knows altered exhaust and suspension are huge targets for law enforcement for easy revenue. Why this is such a huge issue with you I have no idea, its not like your the first person to be summoned on grounds of a altered vehicle. If I were in your shoes I would just pay it and not run the risk of making the situation worse.

if they're wrong, why pay? Would you pay for something on your car if a shop did it wrong? NO

yeah stop being scared of an altered suspension ticket and deal with it.... It doesnt go on your driving record as negative points or anything like that its just a payable ticket, and that cop must have been a straight asshole cause they usually dont issue tickets for that

well they are starting to hound down cars that are lowered now but this cop didnt know what he was doing so im not going to pay the ticket for him measuring the car at the radiator support when its supposed to be measured at the main horizontal bumper bar or like every1 here knows it as the bumper support. thats why im arguing! i aint paying shit!

yeah dude i understand where you are coming from but it is very difficult trying to prove a officer wrong in court unless they are completely retarded, I cant even count how many times a officer has been wrong and i argued it in court and was still found guilty and still had to pay the fine. Ive even argued so much in court against the cop and he started messing up changing his story then even admitted he was wrong and the judge still found me guilty and had to pay the fine, its a commonwealth state get used to these dumb ass cops fucking with you for no reason. If it was me i'd just pay the ticket so my license didnt get suspended like it has been 4 or 5 times. Just my opinion but its very doubtful that you will prove the cop wrong in court..

if you get found guilty, you appeal...

I did on my reckless when I felt the sentence was overkill and the next judge thought so too and reduced it. 84 in a 45 I got restricted license for 6 months, driving school, and $500 fine... that was the appeal. It helps when you're honest when you get pulled and it's your first time being pulled over at all.

no its not my first time! ive been in the honda scene for over 6 yrs now so this isnt my 1st ticket on aftermarket or speedn! this is why im arguing becuz of past experience with both officer and troopers and now i run into this trooper and he measures it at a different spot then the rest. that is why i started this thread and this is why i appealed and this is why im arguing that he measured in the wrong place and im not paying when by law my car measures at 14.3 inches from the ground to the bumper bar or bumper beam or like everyone else says "bumper support"
