maybe its just me. but why does that blue 300zx from a few pages before have a BOV on the hotside of the charge tubes.....

If by hot side you mean pre-intercooler(wasn't sure if you possibly thought it was on the downpipe/exhaust side),it's not that uncommon.My BOV is on the hot side of my intercooler.There probably is an advantage to either having it closer to the TB or turbo,but I guess the pressure throughout the piping from turbo to TB is pretty close to even under boost with open throttle,but I'm not sure what happens as far as some kind of pressure wave when the throttle is shut quickly.....I'm sure there's some smart F'er here that knows more about it.Either way,it seems to work just fine pretty much regardless of where you put it.
