Price: make offer

I'm currently trying to sell my civic. It's a '91 Hatch, DX edition with a stock D15A2 series 1.5 Liter engine. It Has 142,xxx miles, and has been fairly well maintained. I'm the third owner, I've had the car for about 2 years. I paid $1,500 for it and it needed a bit of work. Most of the interior plastic was missing, there was no air intake. I've done a lot. A GT Racing wheel. It has Hankook tires at about 35% thread. It has Motegi rims. It also has after-market headers and exhaust (make unknown) and a Spectre Cold air intake. Downfall, it's an automatic.

I rear ended a Lexus

The radiator and its support is bent. Everything works fine, it's just a little bent. I got a new headlight, hood, and bumper trim. (hood and trim don't match car)

Recently my car stopped working. I took it to three mechanics, had two of my friends check it out, read the Haynes manual up and down and can't figure out the problem. The little flashy light under passenger carpet says idle air control valve and fuel injectors. I checked both, they're fine. I think it has a problem with fuel delivery. Let me know if you have any thoughts on problem.

Needs new "coolant temperature sensor"

A/C doesn't work because high pressure hose snapped

I think you are... They only come in si, dx, and standard (hf).... No ex.
Post the first part of your vin and we can tell you what it is

Edit : its not an si either... Drums in the rear and no sun roof

Re: 1991 Civic Hatch EX

Explain the 1.6 Liter engine and how the mechanic has listings for EX civic hatchs. Don't be a d*** to me on my thread, I'm being nice and telling you the facts on the engine. Maybe the 2nd owner did an engine swap (most likely), or maybe all the mechanics I've talked to are wrong, I dunno. Anyway, it is as it is.

I like the way you think.

My take is: previous owner put another motor in, happens all the time...

Nobody was being a dick to you. We were just informing you that there is no "ex" model 88-91 hatch. Like I said; if you post the first part of your vin we can tell you what model car you have, and if you post the numbers on your block we can tell you what it came out of.
