youll have to forgive my ignorance, is a zif socket something special or is it just the everday socketing that can accept any program ? id like to use crome on this setup since it did very well for me last time. would i need to do anything different or could you download the crome program ?.

ZIF = zero insertion force. fancy lingo for it's easier to insert a chip into this type socket w/o bending the pins. $5-10 option if you buy a chipped ECU
